St. Tammany Parish Justice Center Technology

Washington Parish Courthouse Technology

Console based sound systems are installed in every courtroom in both the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center and the Washington Parish Courthouse.  Additionally, Internet access ports are available in these courtrooms for the plug in of any type of electronic equipment; projection screens are also available in each courtroom for the presentation of audiovisual material.

For those attorneys representing incarcerated individuals or, under certain legal circumstances, witnesses in civil proceedings, encrypted software is available in both courthouses for simultaneous audio-video appearance of these individuals.  Any simultaneous audio-video appearance must be pre-approved by the presiding judge and coordinated through the Court Administration Office through Rachel Edelman, Court Administrator, (985) 809-5349.

St. Tammany Parish is currently installing state-of-the art electronic systems at the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center designed to provide the court with every type of digital presentation capability.  Click on either the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center and/or Washington Parish Courthouse icons above to view the technology currently available in each of the court's courtrooms.
